It's not up to us whether or not we age. What is negotiable, is how we do it.
Fortunately, there is a philosophy I subscribe to that has made this process easier. It's the notion of living between two extremes: either you stay in one place and become so entrenched in it that you become inextricable. Phenomenological. Like a tree that can only grow one place on Earth. Alternatively, you can go to so many places and see so many different things that you become at once suitable for every environment, while never quite fully being part of it. Expected but jarring. Like a stop sign. Both options are correct, as is everything in between.
The choice is yours, but it should be influenced by those who love you and whom you love.
It's at this point we can let the cat out of the bag: This is a travel blog. And it will be pretty clear in due time as to which side I lean towards.
Here, we'll be discussing three things: Architecture, History, and Travel.
Stay tuned for Far-off places, daring swordfights, magic spells and a prince in disguise.
Just kidding - It's about buildings.
